No solo tú usas mal el condicional español de los verbos ser y estar. Recuerda que usamos el condicional simple para expresar deseos o acciones hipotéticas, sugerir, aconsejar o pedir y dar órdenes con cortesía y esto último casi siempre mediante una pregunta. Recuerda también la diferencia que existe entre los verbos ser y estar. Y, por último, recuerda que el condicional compuesto se forma con el condicional simple del verbo haber (habría, habrías, habría, habríamos, habríais, habrían) y el participio del verbo ser (sido)

El condicional simple con el verbo ser

• Si fuera un superhéroe, sería Nadal. (If I were a superhero, I would be Rafa Nadal).
•  Sería imposible estudiar en esas condiciones. (It would be impossible to study under these conditions.)
• Un único examen sería lo justo. (A single exam would be fair.)
• ¿Serías capaz de vivir sin móvil?  (Would you be able to live without mobile phone?)
• Para él sería importante conocerte.  (For him, it would be important to know you.)
•  Sería bueno para todos.  (It would be good for all people.)
•  Serían socios en los negocios.  (They would be partners in bussines.)
• No seríamos humanos sin memoria. (We would be not humans without memory.)
• Todos seríamos diferentes sin poder.  (All we would be different without power.)
• Sin cumplir los estándares,  seríamos expulsados. (Without meeting the standards, we would be driven out.)
•  ¿Serían ustedes tan amables de dejarme sitio? (Would you be please so kind to make room for me?)
•  ¿Sería conveniente cambiar el orden? (Would it be convenient to change the order?)
• ¿Cómo seríais vosotros?  (How would you be?)
•  ¿Serías tan valiente en su lugar?  (Would you be so brave in his/ her place?)
•  Sería una gozada que hiciera buen tiempo.  (It would be a fantastic that weather was good.)
•  ¿Sería posible viajar en tren?  (Would it be possible to travel by train?)
• ¿Has pensado cómo serías sin los medios de hoy día?  (Have you thought how you would be without today’s means?)
•  ¡Seríais imparables!  (You would be unstoppable!)
•  Serías dueño de ti mismo.  (You would be the owner of yourself.)
•  Sería muy bueno llevar huevos a Santa Clara.  (It would be very good to bring eggs to Santa Clara.)
• ¿Lleva tilde sería?  (Has tilde the word ‘sería’?)
• ¡Qué sería sin tu ayuda!  (What would it be without your help!)
• ¡Qué seríamos sin buen humor!  (What would we be without good humor.)
•  ¿Sería posible comer a las cinco?  (Would it be possible to eat at five o’clock?)
•  Sería conveniente cerrar las ventanas. (It would be convenient to close windows.)

El condicional simple con el verbo estar

• Si no fuera así no estaría allí.  (If I weren’t so, I wouldn’t be there.)
•  ¿Estarías dispuesto a ser operado por un robot?  (Would you be willing to be operated by a robot?)
•   Estaría en el reparto de una futura película de Marvel.  (He /she would be in the cast of a upcoming Marvel movie.)
• Si el míster no me quisiera no estaríamos aquí hoy.  (If the coach didn’t want me, we wouldn’t be here today.)
•   Si no reacciona, estaríais pidiendo cárcel para él.  (If he doesn’t react, you would be asking for jail for him.)
• Todos estarían estudiando vivir en África.  (Your friends would be studying living in Africa.)
•   Si tuviese la oportunidad de ser titular del equipo, estaría preparado. (If I had the chance to be the regular first-team player, I would be ready.)
•   Esto es lo que estarías cobrando si trabajaras en Netflix.  (This is what you would be charging if you were working for Netflix.)
•  Estaría aquí toda mi vida.  (I would be here all my life.)
• Si supiéramos más de música, estaríamos mejor. (If we knew more about music, we would be better.)
• ¿Cuánto estarías dispuesto a pagar por tu próximo coche? (How much would you be willing to pay for your next car?)
•   Nuestro padres estarían hoy contentos. (Our parents would be happy today.)
•  ¿Estarías dispuesto a intercambiar tu hogar para viajar?  (Would you be willing to exchange your home to travel?)
• Por qué estaríamos en riesgo si desaparecen las moscas.  (Why would we be in danger if the flies disappear.)
•  ¿Estaríais tu perro y tú preparados para salir ya a la calle?  (Would you and your dog be ready to go out on the street now?)
•   El nuevo teléfono estaría disponible este mismo junio. (The new phone would be available in June.)
•   ¿En qué estaría pensando?  (What was I thinking of?)
•  Estaría bien ganar en Italia, pero el objetivo es el Mundial.  (It would be good to win in Italy, but the goal is the World Cup.)
•  Estaría desarrollándose un nuevo prototipo.  (It would be developing a new prototype.)
•   Esa compañía estaría preparando despidos.  (That company would be preparing layoffs.)
•   Los plásticos de un solo uso estarían prohibidos a partir de 2021.  (Plastics of a single use would be prohibited from 2021.)
•   Los koalas estarían funcionalmente extintos en Australia.  (Koalas would be functionally extinct in Australia.)
• No estaríamos jugando torneos como este si no fuera por él.  (If it were not for him, we wouldn’t be playing tournaments like this.)
•  ¿Estarías un año sin móvil a cambio de dinero?  (Would you be a year without a cell phone for money?)
•   Ese matrimonio estaría en crisis.  (That marriage would be in crisis.)

El condicional compuesto con el verbo ser

•  Habría sido informante de la CIA.  (He would have been a CIA informant.)
• Mi vida habría sido distinta con mis padres.  (My life would have been different with my parents.)
•   Habría sido inviable hacer ese fichaje.  (It would have been unfeasible to make that signing.)
•   El incendio habría sido intencionado.  (The fire would have been intentional.)
•  Habría sido asesinado en la selva.  (He /she would have been killed in the jungle.)
•   ¿Esa fusión habría sido beneficiosa para ambos?  (Would that merger have been beneficial for both?)
•   ¿Habría sido advertido anteriormente?  (Would he have been warned before?)
• Esta habría sido la respuesta.  (This would have been the answer.)
•  Habría sido mucho peor dormir a la intemperie.  (It would have been markedly worse sleeping outdoors.)
•   Así habría sido muy doloroso para él.  (That would have been very painful for him.)
• De haber ganado, hoy habríamos sido segundos.  (If we won, we would have been second today.)
• No habríamos sido nada sin ella.  (We wouldn’t have been anything without her.)
• Con ese equipo, habríamos sido campeones.  (We would have been champions with that team.)
•   Sin paz, habríamos sido testigos de muchas guerras.  (Without peace, we would have been witnesses of many wars.)
•   Si no tuvieran ilusión, no habrían sido campeones.  (If they had no illusion, they would not have been champions.)
• Si no hubiesen sido ellos, habríamos sido nosotros.  (If it had not been them, it would have been us.)
•   Sin esa mala suerte, habríamos sido campeones del mundo.  (Without that bad luck, we would have been world champions.)
•   ¡Qué habríamos sido de no haber tenido esa madre!  (What would we have been if we hadn’t had that mother!)
•   Creo que habría sido excelente.  (I think it would have been excellent.)
•   ¿Crees que habrías sido capaz de pilotar con este tiempo?  (Do you think that would you have been able to pilot with this weather?)
•  Habrías sido grabado si yo no hubiera estado allí.  (If I hadn’t been there, you would have been recorded.)
•  Habrías sido el cabeza de turco.  (You would have been the scapegoat.)
•   ¿Qué habrías sido?  (What would you have been?)
•   ¿Consideras que habría sido diferente?  (Do you think it would have been different?)
• Nosotros habríamos sido peores.  (We would have been worse.)

El condicional compuesto con el verbo estar

•  Habría estado negociando en secreto.  (He/she would have been negotiating in secret.)
•  Habrías estado expuesto al virus.  (You would have been exposed to the virus.)
•  Habrías estado en problemas.  (You would have been in trouble.)
•  Habrían estado escribiendo sobre varios temas.  (They would have been writing about several subjects.)
•   ¿Crees que habrías estado despierto a esa hora?  (Do you think you would have been awake at that time?)
•   Si no hubiera venido, habríamos estado esperando cinco o seis horas. (If he had not come, we would have been waiting five or six hours.)
•   ¿Habrían estado aquí si no les hubiera llamado?  (Would they have been here if I hadn’t called them?)
•   Si fuera por él, habríamos estado todos fuera.  (If it were for him, we would have all been outside.)
•   ¡Habríamos estado hablando hasta la madrugada!  (We would have been talking until dawn!)
•   ¡Qué habrían estado haciendo…!  (What would they have been doing…!)
•   Es difícil decir dónde habríamos estado.  (It’s difficult to say where we would have been.)
•   ¿Piensas que habríamos estado más cerca del triunfo? (Do you think we would have been closer to the triumph?)
•   Estoy seguro de que habríamos estado peleando hasta el final. (I’m sure we would have been fighting to the end.)
•   En la playa habríamos estado mejor.  (We would have been better in the beach.)
•   Nunca habríais estado preparados.  (You never would have been ready.)
•   ¿Crees que habría estado listo para concursar?  (Do you think that I would have been ready to compete?)
•   Con más tiempo, habríamos estado preparados para dar ese paso. (With more time, we would have been ready to take that step.)
•   Habría estado mejor conectada con otro ordenador.  (I would have been better connected with other computer.)
•   Tal vez habrían estado a tiempo. (Maybe they would have been in time.)
•   Habrían estado interesados en él.  (They would have been interested in him.)
•   No habría estado dispuesto a pagar ese peaje. (I wouldn’t have been willing to pay that toll.)
•   Habría estado bien escuchar esas palabras más a menudo. (It would have been nice to hear those words more often.)
•   Ellos habrían estado a favor del Brexit. (They would have been in favour of Brexit.)
•   ¿Habrían estado de acuerdo con él?  (Would they have agreed with him?)
•   Si no hubieras marcado el gol no habríamos estado jugando la final. (If you had not scored the goal we would not have been playing the final.)
